I want to add a whisker pole fixture to my mast. Since the mast is aluminum should I use aluminum pop rivets, stainless rivets or maybe stainless sheet metal screws? Any ideas here?

Thanks,

Don

I used stainless screws not sheet metal though. I drilled and tapped the mast for the 10-24 screws for my mast pad eye.

Don - I used aluminum pop rivets on my C25 for the whisker pole hoop and have never had any problems in 13 years.

My pad eye was already counter-sunk for screws, so I drilled and tapped my mast and used machine screws.
