The current issue of Practical Sailro has an article on turnbuckle cotter pins. They mention a new product called a Wrap Pin. It is a cotter pin attached perpendicularly to a Velco strap. It seems like a great idea. Using it would require removing the turnbuckle covers which I have never liked. Any thoughts on this?

I wasn't getting enough out of Practical Sailor, so I dropped my subscription. Is there any way to see what these things look like?

That looks like an interesting idea but wouldn't the velcro open up with friction from the jib sheets on tack and gybes?
