Let's see I ordered it on the 14th and it just arrived today the 27th. Unfortunately I won't be able to install it for a couple of weeks. The mount came too. I bought the New Nissan 9.8 4 stroke with the 25" shaft (same as the Tohatsu). Put oil in it and put it on the scale. Weight is 93lbs. Not bad. Hope it performs well. I went with the Garhauer mount. I know that I may be at the weight lift (spring) limit with it but I have an idea on a gas lift assist that I belive will work if I need it. If I hate it...oh well, I'll just chock it up to my typical CSW (Could'a,Should'a,Would'a) lessons learned. Remember, "There's no better joy than mess'n about with boats" (just keep saying it over and over and ......)

Mark,
Someone early on here expressed your "S,C,W" differently but accurately saying that,"sailing is a learning process". Can anyone argue that?

Only problem is, you can't get experience 'til after you need it.

Good luck with it. My old Evinrude Sailtwin or whatever it is called started like a charm at the first crank this year. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised.
