I believe in giving credit where credit is due.

I recently posted questions regarding the correct materials used to repair a cracked rudder, as my 3rd generation rudder for the wing keel model had developed a saw toothed crack down the leading edge of the rudder. Before embarking on the repair, I called Catalina. Kent Nelson got back to me quickly via email, and advised that I should send photos and details, which he would forward to Frank Butler for a response.

The next day I got a call from Frank. He said ship the rudder and he would repair it. (The rudder was only two years old). I got the rudder back yesterday - about one week after I shipped it to them. Speedy repair and return shipments means I'll still make my launch date for this season (next week). Great job Catalina.

It took a while, but it appears they have seen the light.... As always, once they do, they don't mess around, and get things done. It's good.

Oscar, in the studio.
