Anyone know if there was ever a San Diego C25 fleet? I'm interested in knowing what the fleet number was if it ever existed. Maybe someone from San Diego might know. Maybe a random number would just be assigned if some of us decided to start one? I noticed #1 is Sacramento, #2 is Long Beach, etc.
I want to join the fleet. Here in San Diego is also a Catalina Owners Association (all sizes). The prices are very reasonable, and I might join that too.
<font size=2> <font face='Comic Sans MS'> Jim, If some one has old copies of the Mainsheet the San Diego fleet may have been listed. As soon as I get my files unpacked (I just moved) I will see if I listed a San Diego fleet.
As to your sail number, most C25’s use the hull number, four digits. It sounds like yours (five digits) was registered with The US sail numbering system. The numbering body is different in each area of the country. Your area is SCYA(SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA YA) at: SCYA Service Center 5855 Naples Plaza, Ste. 211 Long Beach, CA 90803-5080 562/433-7426 562/ 438-8656 (Fax) They may have a record of your number.
