I am thinking about selling my 1988 Catalina 25. It is in very good condition. In the past three years I replaced all the lines except the main sheet and vang. Main sail is new, Jib (150) has been refurbished. Outside teak is refinished.
Three additional storage drawers have been added. New 2 1/2" whisker pole. I have replaced the marine head with a porta Potty but still have the marine head. All the hoses and holding tank is still in place. The alcohol stove has been removed (I still have it) and a stainless steel single burner butane stove installed. Diesel has about 30 hours on since factory (Kubota)rebuild. It is a Universal M12. Fuel and oil filters just clanged. Oil change with synthetic multi grade. New alternator belt. I have a new deck plug but have not installed it yet. Old one still works. Running lights are all LED as are all interior lights. Mast has four internal lines. Main Halyard, jib halyard, topping lift and spinnaker halyard All lines lead to cockpit. Four rope clutches and two cam locks on cabin top with winches. Main has mid boom sheets. Boat has two anchors with rode. Bimini has view section to look through to see wind indicator.
I have an A frame mast raising system. Cushions are recently re-covered with Sunbrella. There are custom cushions for the cockpit that are also floats. There is a MOB rescue kit to mount on push pit. There is a spare tiller, also a tiler cover. Pressure water system just installed. I have an asymmetrical spinnaker and boat is rigged to fly it. I also have a symmetrical spinnaker which I have never flown. Need to add some hardware to use. There are several spare items in kit box. Five 8 x 27 fenders. (Lost one)

Boat is located at Joe Pool lake near Dallas TX.

Price is 12,600.00 and I am not willing to sell for less.

I have a trailer for it and may consider selling it as well, However, I can deliver boat for expenses within a reasonable distance. Trailer has new axles with electric brakes, wheels and tires.

...and then what??

A rare model, so many upgrades, I'd say very well priced... Are you sure??

Edit: Love the tiller-table with the hemp fiddle!

Not sure what is next.

Wife has not been on boat in over a year so I am thinking I want a performance boat for racing. I have been crewing and have really enjoyed it. Perhaps an Olson, J24 or S2.

I have decided not to sell it. Keep it for just spending a day on the lake enjoying life-like yesterday.

You have a winner: inboard and it sounds to be in great condition. Enjoy it as long as you can!
