Planning to move up to a bigger boat, so must part with "Ariel." I'm her third owner and have enjoyed her for 15 years. She's got a Standard rig and wing keel, with a traditional cabin layout and a pop-top. Mercury 2-cycle 15HP outboard with electric start & alternator; runs very well. Trail Rite tandem axle trailer with rollers, refurbished 2001. Custom offshore-grade dodger with matching sail, outboard, winch, tiller and grill covers. CDI furler with Ullman 135 cruising Genoa (2003). Ullman full-batten cruising main (2004). Johnson asymmetrical cruising spinnaker, very lightly used. Standing rigging replaced 2003. Lewmar #6 winches for halyards and reefing lines. SpinLock clutches for halyards and reefing lines. Lewmar #16 self-tailing winches for Genoa sheets. Harken, Garhauer, and SeaWay blocks; Harken and Ronstan cam cleats; all lines led aft. Polaris VHF radio, Autohelm Bidata (speed, depth), Ritchie compass. Garmin hand-held GPS (GPSmap 60CS) with charts for PNW. Balanced rudder, heavy duty gudgeons with Delrin bushings. Forespar whisker pole. Gin pole system for raising/lowering mast. PFDs: four Type I off-shore, one Type IV throwable, one Type V (LifeSling). Fire extinguisher, flares, bandolier. Magma grill, Origo 2-burner alcohol stove. LED cabin lights. Thetford Sani Potti. 30-amp shore power, Guest AC battery charger, solar battery charger with float switch. Two Universal 12V-75AH deep cycle AGM batteries, replaced 2014. CSC Micron Ultra bottom paint, 2 coats, July 2014. Bruce 5Kg anchor with 10’ chain and 200’ rode.
This Bristol pocket cruiser must be seen/sailed to appreciate. Moored at John Wayne Marina, Sequim Bay, Washington. Serious inquiries only, please. Asking $13,500 OBO.
To anyone interested... The '89 was the beginning of the last and best "generation" of the C-25, with numerous improvements--most notably increasing cabin headroom. In my opinion, it was and still is probably the best value in a trailer-legal, comfortable coastal cruiser ever built by anyone. Unfortunately, it apparently cost Catalina too much to build for the market as it had evolved at that point. (I owned an earlier version, and have no connection with this seller.)
From this distance, this one looks like fine specimen with some nice upgrades, and the wing keel (drawing only inches more than the raised swing keel) makes it easily the most sought after of all of the 13 years of C-25 models.

Thanks for the input, Stinkpotter. I am a bit over 6-0 and can stand up in the boat without raising the pop-top. The trailer rollers and the wing keel make it very easy to launch and retrieve. We've done several trips to the San Juan Islands with Ariel and she's performed beautifully. We will miss her...
For benchmarking purposes, can you tell us the selling price?

Congrats! That was quick! It shouldn't have lasted long...

Thanks, Stinkpotter. I had two serious prospective buyers interested in her. My first prospect made me a full price offer 30 minutes into our sea trial.
