Does anyone know the width of the little fin in the bottom of the hull as it approaches the transom? Is it solid fiberglass?

If you crawl back there you should be able to see it. Mine is mostly solid, but it starts to hollow out toward the transom. Why?

Thanks. I wondered if it was solid fiberglass, could it be a nice place to mount one of those electric pod motors, not that I can afford one...

You could probably epoxy and glass some lumber back there. From what I remember there is a little bit of room.
