You would need a direct line from the keel up through the opening provided by the sliding hatch, or create a hole, covered by a Beckson plate, in the deck. The primary issue would be balance. You might be able to do it with the mast up, but the boom would definitely need to be removed. Best to ask Catalina Yachts if it is doable. Most likely not feasible with a swinger.
I used one with my Merit 25. It helps to have the lifting eye threaded onto a keel bolt at the perfect cg but no one does, you still use lines to the three corners of the boat to control the lift and keep the boat level. Most people had their own lifting cable which was just the right length to reach up to the crane hook which was where you would also connect the "docklines" going to the cleats.
