Has anyone replaced the handrails with the new fiberglas (plastic?)?
I would like to know how they are attached. Do the come with predrilled hole and screw in from the bottom?

Also are there any other wood parts replacement available (other than the port and starboard stow openings. I replaced those and they work well and are pretty.)

CD has [url="http://www.catalinadirect.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=136"]teak rails and trim[/url] and undrilled plastic rails. [url="http://www.plasteak.com/plasteak-recycled-plastic-products/boat-trim"]PlasTeak rails[/url] are custom-made any way you want--you can sent them the originals to copy. I'm surprised to see that at $1/inch, the faux-teak PlasTeak handrails are less than CD's white ones.

I just bought new teak hand rails for my boat from CD. They were pretty pricey, and after I placed my order they called to tell me that they needed a special tube which was going to add $30 to the price and with the new tube the shipping was going to be an addl $10. Nearly $200 for these new rails... but they sure are pretty. :)
