Maria T is for sale (in the Swap Meet section of the foum) so I figured I'd share some of her mods in case anyone is interested before she is happily cruising with her new owner...
This is a simple yet effective mod to secure a Kenyon butane stove for cooking while underway (in relatively calm seas) or especially while rolling gently at anchor. Most of it is self-explanatory but what you can't easily see is the method of securing the stove to the cutting board. What I did was take small round cutouts of adhesive backed foam (I used hydro-turf) and cut out holes that were slightly smaller than the diameter of the support nubs on the stove. With the cutouts "stuck" on the cutting board, and the stove firmly seated into the cutouts, it is incredibly secure from all but severe knocks (and you won't be cooking in that kind of sea state anyway).
The "pinchers" (pot holders) are adjustable, can be tightened firmly in place, and can be rotated out of the way when not in use.
I hope someone finds this useful!
