The Triton will require two 5k axles, or a 3rd 3,500 lb axle, not just two 3,500 lb axles. If the trailer tires are on 5-lug rims, your axles are most likely rated for 3,500 lbs each. The trailer itself will use up 1,000-1,500 lbs, leaving only about 5,500 for the boat, etc. My trailer's label shows a GVWR of 9,990 lbs, but it has two 3,500 lb axles. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
This is why I said I would modify trailer for the Triton. I looked at it and it is set up as to easily put two different axles under it. Everything else will work very well with the Triton. I pulled the Triton back from RI with a 1/2 ton dodge truck with no problem, to WI. Conversion would take all of 4 hours. I am thinking this is my best option. Put the Triton on the trailer and sail the CAT 25 around here until the Triton is completely refurbished. This should give me plenty of time to find out which I wish to keep. Also, this way either one could be sold with the trailer if I decide to continue on around the world or around the Great Loop.
I am parting out the Cat 25 I will try and find the appropriate place to post this. So far nothing is gone so if there is something specific you need... fresh water boat everything is in good shape.
