Sweet!! Looks like we are gonna have some killer wind ( OK only 10-15 Saturday and not sure Sunday yet )out of the east this weekend. That's really fun as we ( and you ) are somewhat on the east side of the lake and it gives you flat water. Makes for some really smooth sailing. The wind is often less blustery also, as it is coming off some flatter land vs. the w/nw winds and just the nature of the pressure system coming in from the e/ne. We shall see. Kinda like the warm breezes from the south and usually so calm, only the east wind has more strength.
I'm expecting to be out all weekend although I may go for a bike ride Saturday. As usual I'm conflicted... I might drop the mast and do some work, but with such great weather it is hard not to just go out and sail. Lucky me my grlfrnd is on a bike ride all weekend so I can get out for some single handed sailing!

I'm the unusaul sail with no sail number and the catalina logo side by side on the the sail.

You should have a really good regatta this weekend, only 15%ish chance of rain. I'll keep an eye out!

I'll look for you give a hail on 68.,I sailed his boat at Weiss Lake in AL a few weeks ago, with another guy as crew, and came in 2nd in silver fleet. We're sailing gold fleet this weekend, 20 registered so far in gold and 9 in silver.

<< OK only 10-15 Saturday and not sure Sunday yet >>

Well so much for that .. Looks like it is blowing in today. Tomorrow and Sunday are only 5-10 from the NE. That should still be OK but I was sure looking forward to the first part of the front blowing in Saturday.

I'll keep the radideo on scan while I'm awake.. looks like a restful weekend for me.

Best of Luck and skill on the Regatta and if you get a chance go over to Big Creek Tavern for dinner. Great Food ( Grouper Sandwich is incredible )
