Has anyone ever bought wire or supplies from Genuinedealz.com? They have great prices, and the products look good (example: marine grade tinned wire), but so did Boatersworld.com but I'll never buy from them again (long story, but comes down to lousy customer service).
Several years ago, I bought Anchor Brand Mast Wire from them and believe addl wire. They are reputable. Less expensive compared to West Marine or other local boat stores and I found out about them from others on this Forum that had used them at that time.
The mast wire was 5 wires in a round sheath. I used 3 of the wires for the anchor, steaming and deck lights and used the extra wire for the positive wire to a fan I installed on the mast column inside the cabin. The 5th wire was for the negative for the lights and fan.
I was also installing a new switch panel. The other fan was installed in the quarterberth and both fans worked off a switch on the new panel. I also moved all lights to switches on the new panel - A BEP switch Panel with 8 switch-circuit breakers located where I could get to them easily reachin into the cabin from the cockpit.
Photos on my website (At work, I sometimes have a hard time pulling it up to link onto postings.)
I just bought 50ft of 16/2 duplex from Genuinedeals.com. two weeks ago for my solar panel. 50ft is more than I need but was cheaper than WM was for 20ft so I will have left overs. The wire arrived very fast. Nothing to worry about with them.
