The Miami to Key Largo Race is set for April 18th Its a 45 mile point to point race. Its run by the Miami Yacht Club. They put 120 boats on one long starting line. Also they have a Perpetual Trophy for the best finish by a Catalina :) all the information about the race can be found at miamiyachtclub.net

Sounds good, too.

Come on we need a Great Lakes race. A New York/New England race. A midwest race. A Pacific NW race. A Mountain race.

Rather than putting on these with our own resources, lets sanction races put on by other organizers.

Lets get our boats out there and show them what we can do! So what if the sport boats go on by.

We have sailed from Miami down to key largo, it's a great trip.
Sadly I won't be able to participate in that race/event as I'll be at the Rotary District Assembly in Miami that Saturday

We should post who will be in what race and who will need/want crew fot=r whatever race is taking place. I would love to crew on a "southern" race in winter/early spring . . .
