Hate to say it Red, but you got Hosed. I just found this flashlight for $0.92. It may not have the candlepower of your Costco find, but it certainly carries more style.

yeah, that little piggy is "wicked pissah!" As in, what are you going to do with it? Go looking for your long lost unit?

Hi:

I have a mini flashlight I keep in my pocket. Great illumination for its size and has push button on end for one hand operation. It is model number 7831. I checked the site but couldn't find the one I have. However, there are similar models along with many others.

IMHO these are among the most useful lights on board:

Here is the LED light I purchased. At 230 lumens it is absolutely astonishing. It also allow you to adjust the brightness with a unique dimming system. Runs on 2 CRE123 batteries and last a lot longer than you would expect. Batteries can be bought in quantities of 10-12 for about $.90 ea.

I find myself using this thing all the time now. Maybe my failing eyes, but I use it when I need to do detail work.

It is technically a tactical light and will hurt your eyes (or your attackers eyes) if you get into a situation. This technology is used on handgun rails where the brightness alone is a deterrent.

Check it out: $45.00

In all seriousness (ignore my pig light above) - the same website has a 650 lumens flashlight for $39.00. I haven't ordered one, but am seriously considering it...

Remember when buying those extra batteries, lithium batteries start their limited life the day they come off the line. buy em when you need em....
