I need to replace the deck connector for my mast lights. I only want to replace the male, 4-pin plug side. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Been to WM, Boater's World, Defender online. Anybody know a source? I'll buy the whole thing to just get the plug.

John, You may want to reconsider. The deck connector (presuming it's the same one) are very poorly made. The little screws that you use to make the connections are too long to allow you to back them out sufficiently to get the wire into the connector, and if you take them all the way out, well, make sure you're over a nice white surface so you can find them again. I bought two of them from Fisheries here in Seattle & returned both of them. I'd sheared off two of the screws on one of them, and lost a third. When I replace my deck connector, it'll be with something far more robust that those crappy things.
David, It's precisely those little screws that have caused my need to replace the plug. They're pretty soft so, if you overtighten by even a hair, they snap off. You're right, it's pretty cheaply made but, the current one is likely the original and has lasted 10 years. What else can you ask of a $12 part? I'm also looking to avoid taking out the old one and re-bedding a new one. If I should find that I need to do that, I'll go with a sturdier connector.
My connector would do the same (wiggling it would turn the lights on/off). I essentially rebuilt my deck connector. You can unscrew the connector and there are little screws holding down the open ended wires. After dismantling it (just the dangling wire connector from the mast) I cut the wires to get new fresh open ends. Re screwed the wires back in but instead of using the rubber cover, I poured fiberglass resin (with the hardener) in the hole keeping the wire tail as straight as possible by taping it down. The result is that no moisture can get in there anymore and the think is solid as a rock. I'm really glad I did this.
Very easy project. I'll take a picture tonight if I can.
I ordered the metal one from catalina direct , It doesn't have a no fault style of plug , meaning it could be plugged in anyway you turn it . you have to line up the screws on the outside .
and its smaller then the original ,so you have to drill 2 new mounting holes .
I like that connector, Chris. MIne is currently sealed in masking tape awaiting inspiration to replace it. The Aqua-Signal also has 5 pins, which I wanted since I want to add some spreader or mast-mounted deck lights.
