regarding pole length, I haven't had that much experience with the C-25 yet, but with the C-22 the spinnaker pole length is limited to the "J" or 8 ft. while the whisker pole length is limited to 12 ft. Interestingly, I can use one of my C-22 poles with the C-25 jib just fine, but I agree that it is too short for the C-25 genoa.
I remember reading years ago about a woman singlehanding a 27 ft boat in a race from Calif. to Hawaii. Knowing that a spinnaker would be too difficult for her to negotiate, she had 2 identical genoas sewn together at the luff so she could fly each one on opposite sides going downwind. I quess that they were hank-on. Sailing to weather, she would let them lay next to each other.
