Having owned two powerboats, I understand first hand just how dumb a powerboat operator can be.
QE11 is a heck of a powerboat.

Having been a C25 owner, you are exempt from all negative descriptors.

Very cool video! That one powerboat was producing such a high spray in its wake. I sure would be pissed if they flew by too close! The video reminded me of little water bugs skittering across the water.

I will never say my small lake is busy again after watching this. I can only imagine the headlines if powerboaters from my lake would've joined the crowd with the level of understanding of nautical laws and ethics they have.

QM2 entering SF, 38 people dead
February 4, 2007 - San Francisco
Small craft surrounding QM2 suddenly began ramming each other causing 38 deaths and 66 serious injuries today. Kevin Powerthruster commented: "I was only going at 75 MPH and looking at the QM2 to my right when suddenly a bunch of stupid sailboats appeared in front of me. Surely they could see and hear me from far away, yet none moved out of my way. Before I knew it I passed over 3 of'em, cut another in half and finaly had to power down when my face was covered with sail material."

"Fk'ing Powerboats" could be a good name for my still unnamed C250.

Very cool video. I was fortunate enough to see the QE2 the one time it came into Long Island Sound -- right after the Falkland War. She was painted grey at the time (I believe only was grey for one year) and was she BIG. I was sailing on a 36' sailboat, which looked much smaller than event he smallest launch/lifeboat on the QE2. The QE2 was going dead slow and, based on the radio chit chat, it took her over a mile to stop so she could start the process of reversing the course (LISound is only 7 miles across where she had to "turn". Would have loved being on the Golden Gate Bridge when this video was shot -- must have been spectacular!
