I have a 250 WK with no trailer.I' m moving from Ormond Beach, FL. to Clearwater, FL. I have prices from professional movers ($1000-1250).This price does not include lifting the boat out/in. I was all set to schedule this when one of the local captains at my marina assured me that he could handle the whole deal cheaper/safer.
Long story short... he can't find a trailer for the winged keel. He asked me to give him some assistance in locating a company that rents trailers for the 250 wk.
I have been looking on the Internet with no luck, so I thought I'd try this forum. I have read this forum many times and gotten much useful information. I appreciate any help on this matter.
Sincerely,
Tom & Eleanor Abbott Quiet Adventure 250 wk #809 Ormond Beach, FL
You might give Jerry Butz, the Catalina Dealer in Rockledge, a call and see if He can help you out. Rockledge is about two miles South of Cocoa on US 1. He is a great guy and if he can help you He will. His EM address is jerry@rockledgeboats.com. Good luck.
I would think that maybe a fellow C250 sailor in the area might have a trailer and might be able to help. I have my C 25 swing trailer and if I lived closer, I would be willing to help you move it.
