I'd like to replace my crushed rock ballast with a water tank. I know some people have used the Plastmo flexible tanks. Are there other options? Also, has anyone tied the two tanks together? In other words run a hose between them so that when you add water it fills both tanks and when you use water it draws from both. Thanks!

Randy, I made up a manifold using small PVC pipe and valves from Home Depot. The manifold is shaped like a "h" both tanks lead into the one supply line to the galley sink. Only I put valves on the "h" so I could draw water from any one of the tanks or both if I chose. The head sink still pulls from the stock 12 gallon tank.
For filling, I cut the stock tank fill hose and put in a "T" and ran it to the flexible tank. Both tanks will fill at once. Although there is no vent in the flexible tank the fill hose is so large it vents any air out the fill hole. Works well.
