OK, I finaly got my boat launched Mem day weekend. Wow, glad its here, well guess what I will do is present some photos of all the finished work, then of her before stepping mast, then finally in water. I didnt get any on the ramp like I planned, had to launch a busy ramp so time was key...especially since my darn motor didnt want to start....but long story shorty...have to have gas for that LOL,,,its funny now...lol... But do have some pics of her in her slip...I recieved lots of praise about how good she looked.
So I want to Thank All of my Friends here for your help in making her look so good, because got so many good ideas that led me to other things that made her look so darn good.

ok...this is the start..
new faceings on cockpit bulkhead to cover unsightly holes...

Finished cabin, aaahhh such a nice place to relax now

ships bell, altenate location, and internal mount..



speaker boxes, for 4 new speakers that go with new am/fm/cd/ipod,plug/weather radio stereo

two views of the shelf that I got such praise for, I am trying to remember to mesure it for those of you that ask for mesurements..just have to remember to do so... in the second pic you will note in lower rear corner a little black circle, thats the 12v accessory plug for the GPS.


new pop top lift kit, love this thing its great, also put some extra dog keepers on my hatch in the vberth,


new mast/deck light, I have all new nav lights, glad I did cause firts time out they came in really handy..see setting on ramp no gas in water level gas, until it ran out and we had to sail back in about 2 mph of wind, lol, impressed by buddy by sailing into the slip, lol...but I didnt think that was too tuff with just a whisper of wind, found out the anchor light works really good for lighting up the wind vane,
Finaly in the parking lot, nicely vertglassed hull...looks night n day compared to old oxy hull...


AND ATLAST in the water comfy in her slip.



Thats it, she is ready to sail....more to follow...

On the outside finishing, did you remove everything, strip, sand, and then refinish? Must have since the grain really shows.

yes removed everything that was not trouble to take off, the trim on the cockpit remained was too much trouble to remove, but hatch boards lol...and the all the stuff on the cabin top came off. however trim for companion way and peices on top of bulk head along top remained....I had removed most everything form interior so dust was not big deal. The great thing about the teak guard is that once you get it down and cleaned and put the stuff on, the next time you apply it its really easy, just use the cleaner and then apply the teakguard....well

Looks great. Nice job on the teak.
Sand and stain all the wood is my summer project - I hope I can do as nice of a job as you have.
