Do you all cruise with dishware or use paper plates, etc? If you use dishware do you have experience with this line?

Do you think the soup bowls (life preserver pattern) will fit in the bowl slot in our 250s?

We cannot direct the winds but we can adjust our sails.

Since my cruising is limited to weekend trips, I prefer paper plates and bowls. I don't feel like washing dishes in our little gally sink.

I'm with Bubba. Even on longer week to two week trips, I prefer to use paper. It's bad enough that I have to wash pots, pans, and flatware. I'm usually near a marina most days where I can rest, recoup supplies, and dump trash.

I agree with the paper plates/bowl/cups route.

When cruising, our first choice is always dining out. It gives us a chance to stretch our legs, do some exploring, mix with the locals,...etc. It also reduces the need for cold storage, eliminates washing dishes, preparing meals, and provides more freedom and relaxation.

As my wife would say, "It's not a vacation if I'm going to be a galley slave, I can do that in the comfort of my own home."

I use paper plates as well but have a bamboo type plate holder so paper doesnt blow away when in thc cockpit.
