A couple more years for me... I'll be looking for the retirement boat and the perfect anchorage in the Sea of Cortez.

Some good friends of mine have one--their upgrade path was C-22 to C-27 to C-30 to C-34 Mk II (which I've been aboard for several days). You can conclude they're happy with Catalina! That's a beautiful boat! (...except for, of course, the starboard dinette! )

I'm always on the lookout for my next boat (that's how I got my current boat) and last Sunday while purusing Craig's List, I came across an ad for a 79' Venture which piqued my interest since my first boat was a 78' V25. When I clicked on the ad and the picture came up, I said to myself, "Hey, I know that boat and not only do I know that boat, I took this picture!". It turns out a fellow sailor at my marina was selling his boat (he bought a C27) and he used one of the pictures I took of him on the water.

What's that huge thing along side the cabin? Must be 20' tall.

Ah, yes, it took me a second...I meant '79. Thanks for pointing that out for me. It was Friday at work and I was nearing shut down mode.
