Years ago, a friend's very young twin daughter's were into collecting the American Girl series of dolls and they aked their dad (my friend) if he could help them look for some doll information on this new internet thingy they just got. Anyway, my friend, who was not so internet savvy, did a search on "American Girls" and clicked on one of the search results only to have a slew of porn site windows pop up onto the screen while he and his innocent little daughters looked on.

If you refresh and watch the ads you get a combination of sailing terms and mix that may be the problem . . . sailing singles, Rendezvous, Private and Corporate Parties, huge, bareboat . . etc.
Amazon does not have a very complicated algorithm.
