I was reading another post in the C25 forum about where to put a reef horn. While reading the post and responses it suddenly occurred to me that I may have left our mainsail reefed after our last sail. We were out the day after Thanksgiving in a pretty brisk wind and we reefed the main. After returning to the slip, we closed up and put everything away, but I forgot to undo the reef. Is there any problem with leaving it reefed this long? I can't imagine anything wrong with that, but I am new to this gig. BTW, the sail does have a cover on it, so it is protected.
Mike Grand Lake, OK N.O. Catalina 25 #4849 In my opinion 75% of the earth is water for a reason. That's why I sail.
Thanks Dave, I expect to be going back up to the lake in a couple of weeks and will release the main to normal set up. I didn't think there was a problem, but always like to be sure.
