Launched Brandy today in upstate New York this morning. No issues except for the backstay tension. I have the rear turn buckle almost bottomed out and still the backstay is what I consider loose. I have three inches of prebend/aft in the mast. Is this a matter of give and take with the turnbuckle under the CDI furler? If so is it just a matter of taking the verticle pin out at the top of the furler barrel and pushing the barrel of the furler up to gain access to the turnbuckle? This is a CDI 4/6 furler. THANX again.
WARNING! I would do what you have to do to make sure the forestay is secure. On the 250 rig, if the forestay comes loose, the whole rig will wind up in the cockpit.
