At the risk of getting shot. . . another question about the association renewal. . .
In Feb I received an email regarding renewing my membership via PayPal, which I did (at $20) and for which I got an email receipt. I never got any other 'member's only' password, etc. (I know, sore subject). However, today I just received a 'snail mail' membership renewal notice for $22. The membership renewal date listed on the notice says my expiration date is 6/1/2006. I bought my boat in Mar 2002 and have always renewed (to the best of my recollection) in Mar or April each year, except for Feb of this year. Where did June come from?
Should I ignore the notice, pay the extra $2 that PayPal didn't collect in Feb??
Thanks! And thanks for all of the hard work you ALL do for our association!
Jim's on the water, so I'll answer. The fastest way to resolve the issue is to send a quick email to Lu Ann (nanosecla@yahoo.com) explaining just what you did in your post. She's the only one that can get to the bottom of the issue. I'm guessing that you may now have duplicate listings in the member database, but only Lu Ann knows.
