How to mount a "portable" Tiller Tamer without drilling any screws. The unit's on a PVC sleeve, the control lines connect to small cam cleats secured by the screws connecting the catbird seats:

Frank: I s that a wood wegde inside the PVC pipe? Did you use a felt strips to protect the varnish? What stops the PVC pipe from slipping under one sided stress. Can you provide a close-up picture of the tiller?

A couple of weeks ago I bought a similar device called Tillerlock made by CanSail for $35.00 Can. funds and wondered how I could mount the unit without drilling just to try it out
Your solution looks doable trying. Henk

Yes, there's a wood block inside the PVC, no, no felt. When I slide it on 'til it stops it won't pull to either side. Close-ups a-comin'.
