Got down to the boat today after weeks of kitchen remodeling. Time to get some things done on the boat. I got my mast gates installed, had to do some grinding to get them to fit properly so I used my little rotor tool plugged into a 300 watt inverter. Worked like a champ. Installed a eye strap on the boom to tie the bitter end of the first reef to. Mounted a second AB fire extinguisher and a tide clock I won off e-bay. Still need to work on the second reefing arrangement. All that and got a few hours for fine sailing in. About 80 degrees and 10-15 west winds. Sunburn!
Great day indeed! I showed up with the admiral to the marina to do some cleaning and "work" and ended up sailing all day!!!! Not bad at all. Any day sailing or working on it can be chalked up as a good one.
rualpou, Do you have another picture of your topping lift? One that shows more detail of it? Its cool to be able to stand under your bimini... mine's high enough too.
