Hey CS – For those members who might not know there is another yahoo list server out there that you run for the Capri 25 guys, it might be beneficial to explain that what you are doing…(which I think is a great idea to get people here by the way…)

I am going to move all of the archives from the other site to here, I have left a message and emailed everyone that I am going to close the yahoo site. I will be contacting the fleet captian of WYC and try and get the members on the WYC ative in the group.
Might be able to load directly to the database.....lemme look into it. if so you'd be able to cut paste everything into a spreadsheet and I'd be able to monkey with it from there.
I'll miss the email functionality of the Yahoo group. Currently, I can get email on my phone, but not the web. Suppose I'll have to upgrade sooner or later.

I like the email from the yahoo group too, but I'm okay with moving here. It is better to do that than have two groups. In the FAQ it says you are supposed to be able to use the "subscription" function to subscribe to get email from the forums, but I can't find how to configure it. I sent in 20 bucks for the membership, but don't recall getting a member login; you might have to have that to use the subscription feature.
I too have sent in the money for becoming a member, The memberships are batch processed, Email The board and they will send you a log-in name and password. It takes about 4 weeks to recive your membership letter in the mail. As for the Email, Yes I liked the feature that Yahoo has, but most of the time I was just going to the site and looking at the posts anyway.
