Just finished a very enjoyable 3-1/2 day, 170 mile trip bringing our "newer" C25 from Fort Pierce, Florida (east coast) down the IntraCoastal to Stuart and across the Okeechobee Waterway (5 locks) to Fort Myers (west coast). I'm not going to do a travelogue here but almost everything worked perfectly (and what didn't can easily be rectified by a call to Catalina Direct), enjoyed great sailing, motor sailing and motoring, the Honda 4-stroke outboard performed like a champ and I have seen enough Florida wildlife to last me for many moons.
My crew was a very experienced sailor. Since I bought my first sailboat less than a year ago, this trip really gave me a boost in my sailing knowledge and confidence. Can't wait to get out there again.
