This ones mainly for Oscar. Oscar I was jealously reviewing your FlA trip and rendezvous with the gals from Tropical Sleigh when I noticed your installed Tiller Lock Box. As I currently have a Forespar Twist Lock extender (it looks like the same as you), I have been contemplating installing the box. Do you use it a lot? Does it work well? Is it worth cutting a hole in my boat? Did it come with any kind of backing plate? I never seemed to mind cutting holes and doing mod's on my old boats but I don't want to do anything thats not absolutley worth it to EDGY! Anyone that can weigh in, please do!

Some people consider being prolific on an indiscriminate basis an asset. I, for one, occasionally compensate for my frequent bouts of verbal incontinence with a simple, uncluttered answer to a straight forward question.
Willy, if you're careful, you can cut the lockbox hole into the combing cut-out. That way, if it ever leaks, water can't enter the cabin. I had to shave about 1/8" off the trim next to the lockbox to get it to fit. This installation was actually inspired by one of Oscar's posts last year. Oscar: you da man!

Actually it was ^$%#*&()* and that was the water filler tube.... But you were close. In all fairness, after working out those initial bugs the boat has been trouble free...
