Ok, my passenger is really limiting what she is going to do while we are sailing. The passenger does not grind winches but will hand me sheets. She is helping me get my single handing schtick down and I'm figuring out what I need. I have most of the goodies but need coaming winches and she is buying. I like the 16 Self-tailers that come on the Wing Keel but was wondering if the 14 Self-tailers like the Capri 22 has for coaming winches would work just as well.

I have 16’s for my coaming winches. At the 2004 Denver boat show the Colorado dealership had a WK on display and it had size14 self-tailers on the cabin top. So I would say you would be fine.
I'd like to see pictures of anyones coaming winches so I can judge wehre I want mine. I've found the 14's for about $150 less than the 16's. Now I can get them installed and buy new sheets to run the lines all the way aft witht the savings. Aside from the pictures how long do I need my new sheets for my jib to be.

I just got longer jib sheets. The boat came with 50' I now have 65' that works well even with a poled out jib. I have enough to work the sheets from behind the wheel.
Here is a link from the coaming winch topic in August 2003. It has pictures and discussions.
I have a WB, I believe you have a WK my jib is a 110...but, for what it's worth, I put a very economic Forespar Marelon winch (Westmarine -new-catalog page 1045) right over the cubby hole for ease of installation....works like a charm, and the original sheets were long enough, even poled out.

Just last week end I completed the installation of my coaming winches. They are Lewmar 14st that I bought from West Marine. I guess I will now need to purchase a longer jib sheet. I did also purchase 2 stanchion mount fairleads for each side to smoothly run from the lead block on the track down and to the winch.
Well I made the jump yesterday. I ordered the Winches (Lewmar 14CST) and covers, longer sheets, and fairleads. I also found a great source for harware and rigging, Blue Water Sailing Supply http://www.bluewaterss.com Their prices were better than the large chain that we have here, they met or beat every price for the all of the items I was looking for. I'll post pictures when the work is done.
