I notice that there is a Tech manual and Parts Manual for the C25 but not the C250. Even the C250 Owners Manual hasnt been updated since long ago. Does anyone happen to have a parts manual or tech manual for the 250? And what about an updated owners manual, or is that wishful thinking?

I'm afraid this forum is about as close as your going to get...
I've noticed "the book" is rarely referenced, and then only in a derogatory fashion.

The manual for my '97 wing keel seems to be written for the water ballast. It has some good info, but not enough to trust any dimensions like bridge clearance, sail dimensions, etc. Especially since Catalina hasn't really tracked its changes by hull id or year.

I think the manual is pretty sad too. On thing I would like to see is a lifting diagram as shown in the C25 manuals. It would be nice to see some Catalina dimension for trailer pad placement and lift points for the C250.

Here is the C25 lifting diagram.

The owners manual for the our 04 WK shows the last revision to be 7/31/01. It does have some drawings, but no parts list and no trailering or lifting information. If you have any questions that you think might be in the manual EM me and I will look it up and EM you the page if available.

Having asked as many questions about rigging and rounding up etc as anybody, are there too many variations for some well known, tried and tested C250 WB & WK owners to perhaps write an "Unofficial" Sailing and Rigging a C250 for "Dummies" text and putting it somewhere on this forum? My owners manual is current as current can be for a 1995 WB, however when a drawing is requested Arlyn has had access and come thru or Catalina has supplied any thing I have asked for but not in a good time frame. Also asking for a part is usually matching up something at West Marine. There appear to be a lot of new C250 owners out there who could really use a basic text on the operation and setting up of these boats and a better way of doing things than the tried and sometimes not true C250 basic owners manual....Just my two cents again...75 days till splash."Bear" on the hard in upstate N.Y.
