I had the best summer since I bought my 250WK...I was able to sail 3-4 times each week in June & July..I was fortunate to take 5 night sails and take lots of sunset photos. I also had the pleasure to share many of these evenings with Derek, Bren, & Buzz. Here is one of my favorite from the summer of 2003 at Canyon Lake, Texas. Please share yours from your part of the planet: Steve
You all know it as one of my signature photo's, but here's the bigger version.....it's the Patapsco river, we're heading east into the bay....the boomers in the background are beating up Baltimore which we left just in time......It was dark about 45 minutes later.
The picture won't load in it's 'full size' version, for some reason, but is of a sunRISE last summer; taken at the mooring field near Canyon Lake Marina.
I crewed on a Catalina 42 on the Port Huron, Michigan to Mackinaw Island (northern Michigan) race this year. One of the crew played the bagpipes, so attempted to "pipe" us some wind at sunset, Sunday evening. With sound carrying so far on water we had quite a few comments from other boats at end of race party "kind of erie, hearing bagpipes, not knowing where it came from"
"Sunrise" early Monday morning about six hours from the finish line

These were both taken on the same morning.. not a sunset, but figured belonged here. Anchored off of Morris Island, SC, camped on the beach and stayed up all night.
