I added combination radio cassette player this winter and I was having problems getting AM reception and therefore radio broadcasts for the Mariners games. This was a big problem for my first mate so I started looking into antenna options to boost signal reception.
This weekend I added a splitter (West 247413) which separates the VHF, AM, and FM frequencies provided by my existing mast-top whip antenna. Following a five minute installation, my radio AM signal improved 100%.
