Went to the Sail Expo in January to look for a trailer for my C22.

Came home with a contract for a C250WB (new 2001 leftover). Picked it up in April and have sailed her twice, so far.
Can anyone recommend what type of tiller extension would be best?

She sails tender like my old ODay daysailer.

Thanks.

Harry

Welcome to the forum.....

I put on the Forespar Medium Twist Lock 27 to 48"(West Marine Catalog page 919) with theTiller Lock box installed on Starboard..... I'm pretty happy with that setup.

There's lots of good advice on sailing the boat on this forum, and lots of descriptions on projects to do.Good luck with the boat.

We've had ours since Feb. Although there are some warrantee items to contend with, over all we're pretty happy. Feel free to e-mail if you want, or just post here and you'll get lots of (good) advice.

Ahoy Harry!
Welcome to the forum.

Mine came with the boat which I bought used. It's just the typical twist lock type that pins to the tiller handle.

Good to have you aboard.

I recently trailer my C-250wk #364 to Homestead, FL and went across to the Bahamas with eleven other trailer sailors. We had a great time and the boat did wonderfully. I think you are going to really like your boat. My last boat was an '84 C-22 'Desiderata'. The 250 seems like twice the boat for only three more feet.

Here is a link to some video I took at the Bimini Islands.

And here is a link to the Trailer Sailer Bahamas Flotilla site where you can check out more pictues.

If you have a chance, post some pictues of your own!

Safe voyages,
