I am building a frame to support my WB so that a I can replace the turning ball, pulley, and pennant. Will inspect the keel pivot while I'm there. No boat yards anywhere near so I'm building two saw horses out of 6x6 beams left over from a remodel. I will have a beam in front of the keel and one just behind the keel trunk... at least that's the plan.
I am very worried about springing the water ballast tank while the boat is only supported at two points. I will have to be in and out a few times to accomplish the turning ball upgrade. Any advice or words of wisdom as I get ready to do this project?
