We had a forecast for tropical rain, cooler temps and light winds, so we anchored the boat out in 20 feet of water and spent the entire day laying around, listening the the rain. We read and napped and really enjoyed a quiet day on the water.
I forgot all about being lazy an d it was a very nice break!

Nice. How do you like to close up the boat in the rain?

We like to put the DC fans on high, keep the forward hatch cracked, and put 2x4 pieces under the pop-top for ventilation.

Hotter than blazes in Central California still. But that brings up the afternoon breezes so we had to work for it and actually sail. It was a good weekend anyway. Can't wait for some rain.
