...on the new server, or old? If new, congratulations! You outdid your expectations! And at first glance, it seems to work!

I noticed something didn't look right about the Forum. I called the website hosting company and they said the migration to the new server is not complete. It appears they bounced the old server which re-started the Snitz forum. This post is still on the old server.
Further, they said they couldn't tell when the new server will be complete and the old server would be shutdown. It might go down any minute. More updates to come.

Yup--I suspected it was too good to be true... Any chance you can get some warning in advance of the switch-over so you can do another backup? I would think there are other customers for whom that would be important.

The forum is running on the old server. The website hosting company can not tell us when the server will be converted. I'm guessing they have a lot of customers on old servers. Pretty bad customer service when they can't schedule a conversion.
We will keep the forum running. We have a backup from June-24, and this will be the basis for the new server. There are other code changes needed on the new server. I will convert the posts after June-24 and merge them after the new server is running. The posts after June-24 will be on "best effort" so we might lose some.
Thanks, Russ
