Dose anyone have photos or some diagrams of the keel box area and its bolt system. I was looking on the Internet and I can't find anything, hard to believe.

Joe... this may not answer all your questions, however, the attached "centerboard", lifting tackle drawing could be of some help... like all other C250WB your C250WB is equipped with a centerboard and centerboard housing located below your cabin table.
If water penetrates or seeps through the centerboard housing it could enter from the water-ballast tank or outside or both. It should be fully investigated
In case you encounter problems with the existing turning ball mechanism below is a copy of a replacement sheave assembly drawing provided, some time ago, by Catalina Yachts
The centerboard pivot is about 18 inches from the top of the keel when it is in the vertical position. So the 'box' that the keel top swings up into has to be about 18" from the bottom of the hull.
That 'box' has to extend above the water ballast tank.
The coffee table base seems to be an integral part of the cabin sole.
There is approximately 1" space between the top of the water ballast tank and the underside of the cabin sole.
So there is probably an inner box that is part of the top of the water ballast tank (but I have not seen this nor any pics showing this feature)
Ok, if there is water leaking into the cabin though that 'box' I would expect that it should first fill up the bilge.
From what Joe describes, there is water leaking out of the sides of the 'box' that is part of the cabin sole.
But Joe has not stated that there is water in the bilge.
That leads me to think that the inner box (the hump in the keel trunk) and the 'box' (part of the cabin sole) must be somehow joined (I have a tough time figuring that one out)
Would be nice if Catalina would provide pics that show the cross view structure of the cabin sole and keel trunk.
PAUL, you are right on it! The bilge has collected NO new water sense day of launch! I mixed up the long set Marine Tex white and put some patches on the interior keel box. So far so good, its what I can't see that bugs me? I am thinking of ways to get this boat up in the air to take of the keel and get up inside that outer box to see what going on?? There is a company called BROWNELL BOAT STANDS that make a kit that will get a boat of the trailer. I might need to use some wood post to raise the stands up for a 250, but i think it can be done with cation. Again the beauty of this boat is 2400lb dry.
