Has anyone hauled a Cat 25 swing keel on ways? I know the boat cannot rest on the keel so is the boat strong enough to be supported by blocks fore and aft of the keel trunk? The boat would be stabilized by adjustable amas on the ways.

I have hauled out our C-25 on a fin keel trailer so it rests on six 1ft by 1ft pads and the swing keel is lowered to rest on the trailer's keel support, no problems. If the boat is hauled out and put on jack stands, just lower the keel to rest on a block of wood on the ground.
I don't know, just fore and aft midline support might be marginal. Boat stands. (5) would be a better option, but lot depends on your slipway and how much of the keel's mass can be supported separately. The keel is about 1/3 of the total displacement of an empty boat, but it only takes about half the weight off the hull if it is lowered 45ยบ.
