As tasty as is it, we are diligently working at reduction in spam both in the forum (on going battle) and in the membership application/renewal process.

The membership application/renewal process has undergone a major change in the past week, this should result in zero spam from that area. Most members are unaware of this issue, but all of the management team are too well aware of it. The volume of spam should be dramatically reduced effective today at 5pm.

Next is the forum postings, we will be adding a spam preventer in forum sign up process.

Meanwhile, we recommend that you include your forum id when you upgrade (for free) to the new online membership system.

Thanks for the update.
User: JenebalkAlade has been locked.
I think Paul was a little too eager in his previous message.
He has only implemented "Phase-I" which is to prevent the membership email spam. We had some spambots submitting the on-line membership applications, usually several per day.

Paul is working on "Phase-II" which is to reduce the phony forum users and postings. This feature has not been implemented yet.

FYI I believe we have effectively reduced the membership signup spam to virtually zero.

I'm sure someone will get through, but it will take effort!
