Hi guys - long story, but the repairs on my boat failed, insurance denied the claim (wear & tear), and my backup C25 failed its survey... so I'm back to parting out the boat.
I've reached out to a few members who have expressed interest in specific parts.
I will put the parts on eBay unless it is easier here: - full set of interior cushions in great shape (quarter berth cushion has rust stains from winch) - full set of cockpit cushions from Catalina Direct - full set of North sails, main and 155 genoa - North asymmetric spinnaker in bag with hardware and snuffer sock (used 4 times) - Winches - Standard Horizon depth, speed, and wind gauges (45 series) - Plexiglass forward hatch cover - Anchor hatch cover (original) - Original (1980) rudder and new tiller with cover - Hatch boards with storage cover - Pop top cover (new, never used) - Masthead VHF antenna - Mast and boom (standard rig) with new shrouds and turnbuckles - CDI Roller Furler - New lifelines (vinyl coated) and lifeline pads (custom made sunbrella) blue - Mainsail cover, custom sunbrella (blue) - ...any other parts that I can cut or unscrew...
Parts are located in Central NJ, boat hull and mast are in Lockwood Boat Works.
Hello. Can you confirm what is still available? I'm looking for very good condition sails (main, jib/genoa), rolling furler, sinks, cabin light covers, spinlocks, winches
spigooly: start here if you have asking prices......you can see there is quite a bit of interest, and priced right, much will be snapped up. We are looking for some parts to bring our boat up to speed and further improvements.....
Hey Sam - be professional. Someone offered more for a part and Sam didn't want to match the offer. He then pulled out of buying other parts, and posted an unfair message on this site. I would be careful dealing with Sam.
I saw this post and was going to suggest that before parting out so much good gear you look for a solid C25 hull and transfer the best to the new boat -- looks like you are already doing so. Just make sure you both use the best from both AND keep some back up inventory for the future. This may end up being a long term good turn of events for you.
Hello skippers - I am moving my parts to eBay and Craigs List - I have had too many people from this forum back out of buying things, and one shorted me on payment for parts.
I remain interested in the cockpit cushions especially if closed cel foam. Thanks. Thought you were going to put some of your old stuff on the new boat. Since it is reposted I'm thinking the new boat didn't work out?
Well now ain't that a sorry turn of events. I came to page two and some of the prior sales didn't go through. Can you please post a link or links to the items currently available on EBay? Thank you.

If you agree to sell something to someone at a given price you should stick to that deal. If someone comes along and offers more after you made the first deal it's not really "professional" to go back and up the price to the first guy after the deal is done.
Kinda like closing on a car and then coming back the next day to pick it up and the dealer says Hey, we got someone that's willing to pay more for the car we sold you yesterday so you can either match the higher offer or we're not going to sell you the car!
Besides, it's too easy on the Internet to say "somebody" came along and offered more for the part with no way for anyone to verify your statement and as previously stated it's not "professional". How does anyone know you're not just running up the price?
Are you going to do the same thing on Craigslist and EBay?
I have shopped EBay but from the comments listed in the forum I'd have to think hard about bidding on them. And let me just say that this entire thread is such that its not previously been seen on this site!
