Does anyone have photos of their centerboard trunk with the board down that I might see? Feel free to Email them if you have no way to post! Having some problems lifting the board, the inside pulley system is fine, so I'm going on a lift next week. Willy
If you are having problems raising the centerboard and it's not the visible hauling tackle, it's most likely the lower turning ball. If that jambs up, then the hauling line will cut into the turning ball groove and eventually traps the line. Either that or the line comes off the turning ball and jambs at the side of it.
No pics, but I have had our board out and it was almost impossible to get into the trunk area with the boat on the trailer. If the boat was on stands (hate the idea of being under the boat when it's in slings) it would be soooo much easier.
Catalina direct sells a replacement that once installed can be replaced in the water from what I have understood.
