Has anyone solved the water in the anchor locker problem? I get an inch or two of water in the locker after a heavy rain and it is a pain to bail it out. Have thought about a thru-hull fitting installed with what would be the outboard side in the locker and a hose on the inboard side leading down to the bilge. Thoughts shipmates??

Is something blocking your drain? Or is the angle at which your boat sits causing the water to pool too far back in the locker, keeping it from draining?
None, the 1" nipple is readily available from any hardware store, I used epoxy putty to create the seal inside. Note the layers in the poor shot of the hole, I was getting rain between the layers which ran and settled under my v-berth. I believe the original drain is unrealistically small to handle any debris or even webs.
We just keep a wiring zip tie shoved down through the (small-ish) drain hole in the bow. The tapered end sticks out of the hole just a bit, and the cube-shaped clasp at the top keeps it from falling completely through.
It's got just enough movement---sitting there flopping around---to avoid clogs from stoppering up the drain hole.
I think the problem is that the drain hole is not flush with the floor. Look at Franks 5th and 7th photo and you will see that the hole is above the floor so the locker will never fully drain always leaving an inch or two of water.
