Given your other sewing projects you can easily make the jib bag using the plans from Sailrite or elsewhere. I used the Sailrite plans and made the second smallest size. Between the plans (about $3 for a PDF that you download) and their video it went pretty quickly. It fits our 135 genoa (made from fairly heavy fabric) well.
I'll probably make a second one for our smaller jib.
The foredeck bag doesn't make flaking and putting the sail away too much easier (you don't have to unhank or remove the sheets, but it is harder to flake it in place), but it makes rigging the boat a lot quicker. With the sail already hanked on and the sheets run to the jib cars you just pull the bag off, lay the sail out flat, and hoist.

In big winds I get hull speed on head sail alone.
As far as picture size I just hotlink it from FB. I will do one pic per post but I have no issues art all with the thread. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
The large pictures cause the thread to expand wider than the screen. Everyone has to scroll left & right to read every line of text for every response in the thread. I think the recommended picture size is smaller than 1024x768.

Scrolls just fine on my 24"ws with 1080 res.
IMO, this is a picture thread, not a thread for conversation, therefore the bigger the pic, the better. I like looking at the larger, higher res pics. Now if we were in another thread, then I could see the arguement.
You can always post a smaller photo with a link to a larger one. Desktop monitors are often 20"+, but laptop screens rarely are and tablet and phone screens never are.

What about the photo auto-resize feature on IE? <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
I'm not sure why Firefox and Chrome don't resize the pic. IE isn't an option since I run Linux on my laptop and Android on my tablet.

Sorry about the double thread hijack. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
Biggest thing I notice is she wants to fall way off after a tack, you need to fight her to get her back to the wind. If it's blowing over 15 with gusts and I'm cruising, I'm just going to roll out my 130.
As far as the pictures, this is a pic thread and I'm hotlinking so I don't have an option to re-size. I use FB as my Photobucket, or Google +.
If you scroll all the way to the right, you can still read all the text, and see the entire picture. At least on my 12" laptop screen. I kind of like the pics!

Actually when I posted that I thought you were talking about load times. I'll try to post smaller ones. I noticed that the big ones are the ones from Google +, so if I stick with FB I'll be good.
When we going sailing he asks... I guess whenever my expensive Marina decides to get off their butts and put my boat in. 1 week over due. Brewers has yet to impress me...
