We are putting our girl up for sale. She has been a great boat for us. We have sailed her extensively over the last 2 years. I have also done the local yacht club races the last year. I have done a ton of sailing including a 6 year circumnavigation on a Hans Christian 43. Any and all improvements I have done are what would considered professionally completed....

Here are the particulars....

150% genoa is in new condition
130% jib is very good condition
Storm jib is very good condition

Sailing hardware:
New wind indicator at masthead
New main sheet
New jib and main halyards
New topping lift and outhaul
Boom vang
All control lines led aft to cockpit with new Harken organizers and new Spinlock stoppers. Mast winch relocated to deck top.
New forestay and backstay split

Electrical:
Two deep cycle batteries with battery switch.
12v lighting throughout
110v shore power inlet with 110v outlets onboard
12v amplifier connected to to waterproof interior speakers that MP3 player or phone connects to

Fit and finish:
Interior varnish refinished - flat surfaces with satin and trim in high gloss
Cushions recovered in blue heavy canvas
All stanchions and rigging rebedded 2010
Bottom refinished with epoxy barrier coat and 3 coats paint June 2010

Canvas:
New main cover
Full inclosure of raised poptop

Misc:
Swim ladder
New 1/2" dock lines
15 gal water tank removed, cleaned and reinstalled with all new plumbing lines
Portable head

I am currently installing LED lighting and redoing the lazing jacks....

I am working on getting pictures to where I can post them(have to remember how). I will also be listing on sailboatlistings.com.

I am asking $7500. Please contact me and I will send pictures if I havent gotten them on the site yet.

Thank you Dave. It is a Nissan 5. I did not mention it at this point because I have to keep for my dads boat. If it turns out it can go with boat I will bump up the price by $500.

I have always wondered about the Djibouti in your tag line.....what is the story there?

I just always got a kick out of that name out of the pick-list! I picked Mali when my daughter was in the Peace Corps there--then changed it. (She's with MSF in Nigeria now, but that name isn't much fun.)

I see. I was there in 1989. The name is neater than the place. Kind of tough to get to now with the pirates!
