PO did not install any lines to cockpit. Would appreciate some dimensions for installing following: 1. swivel blocks(2) for main halyard and reefing line; distance aft and outboard from mast step. 2. clutches-distance forward from winch 3. cleat location off sheet winches,i.e., forward? aft? inboard? angles? Anyone install/use downhaul for main? Your experience? How do you suscribe to "Mainsheet"? Thanks for all input.
In this post on the iris blog, you can see a pic with our blocks at the mast step and our deck organizers. You should be able to eyeball your locatins from it. If you look really carefully you can see the clutches in the background. It is the pic of the post stuck in teh mast step you are looking for. Ignore teh text and everything else. http://littleboatiris.blogspot.com/2011/04/it-is-spring-again.html

By looking at where the deck organizers and clutches fall in relation to the handrail you can get a close approxamation. Note: You will not need cleats in addition to the clutches. The clutches will keep the lines secure. Feel free to ask any other questions. I have a #7 winch on the port side but rarely use it.

Thanks for the access to pics; helps a lot. New topics: 1. anyone using a downhaul for the main? 2. request some thoughts on positioning of cleats for the sheets coming off sheet winch. (no self tailers .......yet).

Do you have cabintop winches? I find they are a huge help when raising sails singlehanded.

Am planning on installing cabin top #7 winches. Used a down haul on main when bare boating in maine; found it was valuable in reefing; particularly when faced with installing the second or third reef. Kept the boat upright!
